This study discusses the variation of shape and decorative motifs from the 368 pcs display of ceramic plates and bowls of the Indonesia Maritime Museum as an valuable objects founded at Galasa Strait, Bangka Belitung Islands of Indonesia. This studies is needed, so it can be an option for source of knowledge of Indonesia maritime culture which has a long history and has various objects from underwater cultural heritage or shipwrecks. Literature studies and observations achieved to support an inductive reasoning trough analytical descriptive (Morphological and Stylistic). The result of identification explain that for the broadest diameter rim for ceramic plate has 2 different type while ceramics bowl rim can be divided into 3 type to define the measurement unit. From the shape of the ceramic rim, it can divided into 3 different types, which is continues rim, inward bent-rim and outward bent-rim. Both the plates and bowls have the largest percentage in type III (outward bent-rim). The decorative motifs is vary that can be define into 2 type, single and combined decorative motifs. For plates there are 3 variation types of decorative motifs, while the bowls have 5 types of decorative motifs. The largest types was found in the combined decorative motifs, consist of plates 19.3% and bowls 51.9%. Interestingly, there are 6 types of these ceramics which turned out to be similar to the findings of ceramics from Tek Sing Shipwreck, which was known sink at the Gaspar Strait, Bangka Belitung Islands in 1822 and by the year 2000 were auctioned in Germany.
